I honestly wasn’t planning to do another tombstone angel design, but when I saw an image of an early tombstone with the phrase Nip’t in the Bud on it, I knew I had do another. It truly touches my heart. Our sampler was stitched on 40-Count Thornfield from Needle & Flax using one strand of Needlepoint Silk over two threads of linen. Cross stitch and back stitches are used throughout. The stitch count is 51 Wide by 75 High. Needlepoint Silks used are: 222, 704, 961, 962, 964, 998.
